Ali Roba Foundation successfully conducted its annual Ramadhan food distribution in Mandera West, Mandera County in 2025. This year’s initiative reached 2,200 households, a significant increase from the 600 households supported in the previous year.
Each household received 70 kilograms of assorted food items, including:
- 18 kg maize flour
- 8 kg wheat flour
- 13 kg rice
- 13 kg beans
- 3 liters cooking oil
- 5 kg dates
In total, the foundation distributed tonnes of food supplies across several areas: Takaba, Dandu, Lagsure, Gither, Takaba South (Didkuro), Qofole, Dhanaba, Ires Teno, Gagaba, Arshilmi, Sake, and Burduras.
This initiative reflects the foundation’s commitment to supporting vulnerable families during Ramadhan, ensuring they have access to essential food supplies.
